Once a military prison, the building was renovated and converted into a youth hostel and opened in the beginning of July 2003. The renovation process was led by more than 80 Slovenian and foreign artists who are proud members of the society Sestava, each of them contributing to the artistic appearance of Hostel CELICA.
Through art wich is not artificial even military debris can become a piece of art and a piece of peace.
The sharpness of aesthetics and the deepness of ethics can turn the cells of prison to the cells of life. |
